We hosted our wedding at Billingbear and had a wonderful experience. The owners let you really decide what you want to do- no tough restrictions, mandatory catering etc, which is something we found in other nearby place. The space is so green and vast it allowed for us to take hundreds (maybe thousands) of photographs in amazing natural light. We rented an extended marquis and found it to be friendly, family owned (which is a plus), flexible and so much more personal than other wedding hire events we looked at. I highly recommend for weddings and related events!

We had the most wonderful day at Stokes Farm. But let me start this review at the beginning. When we started planing for our wedding we really knew that we wanted it to be our day & we had lots of ideas. When we started viewing venues a lot of them were very structured and didn't give the flexibility we wanted. But when we got to Stokes Farm and met Suzanne we knew straight away it was the place for us. We actually viewed for the first time on a dark rainy evening and still loved it straight away. Suzanne and everyone at Stokes farm were just brilliant in the lead up to the wedding. The day before we decorated the barn and from the moment we put up the last bunting I feel we passed everything over to Suzanne and her team and didn't have to think about the running of the day. It was a truly special and brilliant day. The venue was perfect for us relaxed & fun and it looked amazing. We got our own caters in for the meal (hog roast) and Crepe van for the evening meal. Suzanne and her team did the drinks and the bar as well as getting the cake out and serving. We had a lot of our family do things for the day (flowers, cake, ice-cream, decorating) So there was lots of people and ideas involved but Suzanne was able to juggle us all and pulled it off. We just need to have an excuse for another big party at Stokes Farm.
