A Stunning Georgian Manor House, The Woughton House Hotel has been an integral part of village life in Woughton-on the Green for many years. Built-in 1813 and remodeled in 1846 by Colonel Levi, The Woughton House was a family home until becoming a hotel in 1983. Now fully refurbished, this country manor house offers the perfect setting for any and all celebrations.

Surrounded by green pasture and parkland of the Ouzel Valley Park, these grounds also provide endless photo opportunities for you and your guests. Whether you want an intimate gathering or a more extravagant affair, this timeless and versatile venue is perfect to bring your visions to life.

The Clubhouse Suite accommodates 180 seated guests and 250 people for an evening reception, with exclusive venue hire. Boasting an eclectic mix of 51 bedrooms, we are able to offer preferencial overnight rates for you and your guests.

After your initial enquiry, someone from our Events team will reach out to offer you a free show-round and consultation, where we can go through the finer details together and come up with a bespoke package and quote. Then while we get to work behind the scenes, you are free to focus on the fun stuff.

Very Happy

Sam, Gareth and the team worked tirelessly to ensure a perfect day.
Our guests commented on how smoothly the the day flowed and how good the service was.
The food was outstanding and all areas of the the hotel both inside and out were perfectly presented.
All we had to do was turn up, everything was taken care of, to a very high standard.
If there were any minor hiccups, they were sorted out immediately with the minimum of fuss.
If you chose this venue, you will be able to really relax and enjoy your day, knowing ever detail will be taken care of.

The Perfect Wedding Venue

A beautiful setting for a wedding, with the Church right next door and beautiful scenery all around. We really want to thank all the staff at the hotel for being so thoughtful, polite and friendly. Sam, Silvia and Gareth helped to guide us through the whole process of planning the wedding, coming up with good ideas and lovely touches. The food was great, the function room ideal and the bedrooms nicely decorated. Our family and friends all commented on what a great hotel this was and how nice all the staff had been. We really would recommend the Mercure Parkside as the perfect wedding venue.

Couldnt fault it

We got married here on the 15th November 2015, all in all everything with the wedding went perfectly. Charly the wedding co-ordinator was brilliant in the lead up to the wedding and we couldn't thank Gareth the banqueting manager enough on the day. He was amazing!

Perfect day!

We could not have been happier with our day! Charly and the Mercure Parkside team worked tirelessly to ensure our day had the magical whimsical feel that we wanted. No request was too much and they kept in constant contact making sure we were updated at all times. I cannot recommend having your day at Mercure Parkside House enough.

Gorgeous Venue

Myself and Guy had our wedding here in September. It was an amazing day, made better by the fantastic staff at the hotel. Charly the wedding coordinator and the team made sure everything went smoothly. The bridal suite is beautiful and all of our guests said hor fabulous the rooms were. The hot evening buffet was great. I would highly recommend this gorgeous venue.

Perfect Wedding Venue

The hotel itself is tucked away in one of the most peaceful and beautiful locations in Milton Keynes, meaning it was our first and only choice for the Wallace lego wedding. However, what really made our day perfect was the hotel staff! I was truly touched by their dedication and ongoing efforts to ensure everything was amazingly flawless. From their secret added touches to professional manner... Honestly Charly and Gaz, we can't thank you enough.

Could Not Be Happier !!!

We decided on this venue for our daughters wedding August 3rd 2012. I just have got to say how pleased we are at our choice. The whole event was handled so well. All the staff without exception were fantastic. Our special thanks go to Nicola and Barry for all their help. All our friends have said it's the best wedding they have attended.

Fantastic - you cannot fault - a hidden oasis on the edge of the bustle of Milton Keynes

We just wanted to drop you both an email to thank you for arranging such a wonderful wedding reception for us on 1st July.  Everything at Parkside was faultless.  The room was stunning, the food was gorgeous and the staff could not have been more helpful.  Many of our guests have commented on how lovely the hotel was and how helpful and courteous the staff were.  Please extend our thanks to Chef too.
