The Wynnstay Hotel & Spa was established as a Coaching Inn being a perfect stop off for people journeying between Liverpool, Cardiff and London and Holyhead. The Hotel Dates from 1727, built in a very typical Georgian style it has been added to over the years.

The Hotel has been privately owned for 25 years by a local family who have sympathetically restored, renovated and extended the hotel. This includes building a large function suite overlooking the historic bowling green, converting the old coaching house into a modern gym and spa and transforming an old grocers owned by the Wilsons family into a Contemporary Wine Bar.
