York Barn offers the warmest of welcomes by blending the rustic, homestead décor, along with a modern twist and of course the benefit of being able to tie the knot under our venue’s approved licence for civil marriage and civil partnership. The grounds' indoor and outdoor event spaces can accommodate intimate gatherings for just immediate family and friends, or larger celebration of up to 220 evening guests. The recently converted barn makes for a warm, welcoming setting to enjoy your big day. Also available is the picturesque Garden Pergola, which is surrounded by lush woodland views. Onsite accommodation is also available in the form of 13 cosy cottages, which can sleep up to 113 overnight guests.

The team at York Barn at Villa Farm work to give each couple a one-of-a-kind celebration. They host only two weddings per week, ensuring exclusive use of the grounds during your celebration. Chairs and tables will be provided, which you can set up into any arrangement you prefer. This venue is also dog-friendly, giving you the chance to incorporate your furry friend into your celebration. What’s more, any accommodations sleeping eight or more include the use of your own hot tub for the duration of your stay.
