About
Hi, I'm Stu, and I'm the face behind Confetti & Silk videographers. If you want to have your wedding filmed in a cinematic way but don't want to feel like you're on a film set all day, then I could be the videographer for you.
My style is cinematic, but my approach is one of absolute discretion. Ultimately, I aim for half of your guests to not even realise you're having a video of the day made. I'll blend in the background and be as discreet as possible; I'll never pose you.
For moments to be true and authentic on film, they need to be true and authentic at the time they are captured, so you and your guests need to be completely natural, doing what you/they do without feeling like you are being filmed.
I've been filming this way for about 10 years now and have probably filmed almost 200 weddings. I hope you love the films I produce, but I also bring all the soft skills to wedding videography that people sometimes don't think about. The ability to read a room or a situation and react to it or predict something will happen is vital in capturing moments and not making anyone feel uncomfortable.
I approach each wedding with a smile. I want you to like me and have a laugh with me during the day. I know from my own wedding how you're going to be feeling at different parts of the wedding day. I cried a lot when I saw my wife- there's photo and video evidence to prove it!
When it comes to booking in to have my film for you, it's a straightforward process, nothing long and drawn out; I pride myself on good customer service, which I got from my previous jobs before I managed to become a full-time videographer, I reply to emails timely, answer my phone and put your journey with me as my top priority.
