Capturing weddings brings me immense joy. Each wedding is a unique love story, and I take great pride in creating films that are romantic, moving, and as unique as you both are. Drawing inspiration from my extensive work as a music video and documentary filmmaker for renowned bands like McFly and The Vamps. Producing videos that have helped me attain over 130,000 followers on my instagram account. I bring a modern and fresh perspective to wedding cinematography.
I would be honoured to be a part of your special day, observing rather than participating, using the latest Netflix approved cinematic equipment to ensure that every detail is captured in the best way possible. My signature style is smooth, romantic, and cinematic, with unique, tried and tested colour grading and editing techniques.
I will shoot for and edit a variety of different wedding films for you including teaser trailers, highlight films, extended highlight films (available on request) and seperate ceremony and speeches videos (now as standard in my packages).

What does the wedding package include?
My most popular package includes cinematic drone footage, a 10-15 minute highlight film, 1-2 minute teaser trailer, full ceremony and speeches films, HD RAW footage and up to 12 hours coverage time
How far in advance should I contact you?
Chances are more likely of getting me available the further in advance you can book
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, the World :) but i'm based in Hertfordshire and regularly travel up to 2 hours per wedding so reach out
What is the charge for travelling?
Dependant on distance. Most UK bookings occur no or very minimal costs
What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I've combined a technique built over almost 20 years of experience making documentary films and music videos. I like to observe rather than participate and offer a calming, quiet influence to your day
What kind of equipment do you use?
Latest Netflix approved 6K multi camera setup, cinematic drone, and high quality audio capturing devices with an at home state of the art editing and colour grading suite
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes
How do you charge extra time?
Extra time is charged at £150 per extra hour. If it runs past midnight and I am a set distance from home you may also need to pay for accommodation
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer with a 50% deposit to secure your date, bookings are made on a first come first served basis and you’ll receive a contract
How do you work?
I aim to create a cinematic experience that tells your story in a way that's artistic whilst blending into the background. In a nutshell though, always with a smile and a laid back demeanour

Absolutely no words!!
We have absolutely no words for Dean!! We can’t thank him enough for an incredible job well done start to finish! Tentative and fantastic through most the whole process and the wedding day, the loviest guy who is an absolutely incredible person and videographer!! We couldn’t have been any more luckily have Dean shoot our special day! He has captured it so perfectly and it’s something we look back on fondly very very often! Thank you so much Dean!! ❤️

The West's Wedding
We went with Dean Sherwood because he came with very good reviews from couple who had got married and from his awards. Dean was professional and personal throughout our wedding experience. The videos themselves were spectacular and we would very highly recommend choosing him as your wedding videographer!

A truly special wedding video!
Dean was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was so calm and professional on the day and worked around all of the madness to capture as one truly amazing footage.

Exactly what we’d hoped for
Dean was exactly what we were looking for, a more modern approach to a wedding video. The live music at our wedding was incredibly important to us to capture which Dean did and used the audio over the highlight reel, it was everything that we’d hoped for. Dean captured in the highlight reel exactly how we remember our day looking and feeling, it was so special to be able to relive the memories and see bits of the day we had missed or forgotten. Dean was quick to respond, we met on a video call which was great as we could discuss our requirements and we just felt like it was a good fit, this secured our decision to proceed. The booking process was easy and the prep/questions before the day gave us confidence that everything we wanted captured would be. We received our video back within 12 weeks including our highlight reel, full ceremony, first dance and speeches. Dean’s service is excellent value for money, he’s a friendly guy and was very discreet on the day, we barely noticed him but he still managed to capture the intimate moments! We would highly recommend.

no cheesy, tacky videos here, it's more like a really cool, behind-the-scenes music video.
WOW!!! We LOVED working with Dean! He shot our small, intimate wedding and he did the most amazing job. He captured the day, the guests, the atmosphere, the tears, the laughter, the love. .. and all done in such a beautiful way. There are no cheesy, tacky videos here, it's more like a really cool, behind-the-scenes music video.
Dean was great at communicating with us, really listening to what we wanted (and didn't want), nothing was ever a problem and he was a total professional on the day!! And not to mention the videos he produced afterward, we will cherish them forever and so so pleased we chose Dean to help us remember our wedding.

Dean is hands down the most amazing Videographer there is, he is professional, dedicated and definitely has a flair for capturing the most amazing moments!
