When our original photographer pulled out I thought we were doomed to find a replacement but Derryn being available turned out to be one of the best wedding decisions we made. He went above and beyond to photograph our wedding. When you see these weddings in magazines as beautiful as they are they always seem a bit staged what Derryn managed to do with our day was truly capture the joy, love and laughter that we shared on our day with our nearest and dearest. After the wedding we heard two things from our guests 1)how much they enjoyed the wedding and 2) just how brilliant Derryn was and that was before even seeing a single photo. From a single day Derryn has given us a lifetime of memories and I simply can't stop looking at our photos. Thank you doesn't feel enough to show just how grateful we are for what he did for us.

Choosing your wedding photographer can be an overwhelming journey to embark on, we used hitched and saw a range of portfolios but Derryn’s immediately stood out to us.
Derryn was kind enough to accommodate us within a budget that worked for all of us. We were invited to join a team’s call with Derryn, where we talked about the venue and our ideal photography day, but also about each other. It was at this point that we felt immediately at ease, we knew that we could approach Derryn and his Fiancée Sam with any question or proposition and they would be understanding.
Closer to our wedding date, Derryn made helpful suggestions using his expert knowledge which were really helpful in planning our day!
On our wedding day, Derryn arrived and it honestly felt like he was part of the family! His calm, positive and friendly nature was a welcome addition to my pre-ceremony nerves! With every compliment and word of reassurance, he somehow managed to make me feel at ease.
Throughout the day, he was a god send for time keeping, as well as capturing our photos it’s as if he double act’s as your wedding organiser too! Ensuring everyone is where they need to be and when, this was so very appreciated! We were sad to see him leave after shooting our day, he really did become part of our furniture and everyone LOVED him! Had he not of had a wonderful Fiancé, a baby and a dog at home, we would have invited him to stay for a drink and some evening food, we enjoyed his company that much!
We received multiple compliments on the days after the wedding asking where we booked our photographer, expressing their gratitude for his work on the day and that he was so kind and funny.
We will never be able to thank Derryn and Sam for the work they put into our special day, capturing moments that we shall both cherish for many happy years to come.

Derryn photographed our wedding at Priston Mill in March. The booking process was incredibly easy and Derryn was amazing at working within our budget. From our initial consult with Derryn, we could tell he was a great fit for us. Derryn's relaxed style was awesome and our guests all agreed how fun he made the photos His focus on capturing the feel and dynamic of the day, letting couples and guests be themselves means he really replicates the magic of your wedding day. Derryn is an exceptionally talented photographer, the photos he delivered are the perfect way to remember our day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking him for your wedding.

What can we say apart from Derryn was absolutely amazing! The organisation by Derryn and Sam after having our initial call was top noch with Derryn knowing exactly what photos we wanted, where we wanted them and the time frames they had to be taken in.

We had our original wedding photographer cancel on us 6 weeks before our date and luckily Derryn had space to fit us in. Our original photographer cancelling was 100% the best thing that could have happened as Derryns photos go way above our expectations, absolutely in love with them, they captured our day perfectly!

We had Derryn booked in for 3 hours and in those 3 hours he went above and beyond our expectations. Even brought tissues and blotting paper to sort us out in the 32 degree heat and got us into Parade gardens for a couple of shots literally as they were closing.

The photos taken speak for themselves in how exceptional they are. The natural way Derryn took them was exactly what we were looking for and WOW they are fantastic! Better than we could have ever asked for and to make matters even better they were all sent back to us soo quickly. So many of our guests have commented on how beautiful the photos are.

Derryn was the best photographer we could have ever asked for and made our day run so smoothly. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, we 100% recommend Derryn. You really won’t be disappointed as he is amazing from start to finish.

Working with Derryn was amazing. He was so thorough and thoughtful and always had our best interests at heart. He managed to capture so much fun as well as encourage us to take stock and have a moment together after our ceremony for some photos which am so glad of. He also managed to be sooo inconspicuous which was so impressive.
