Hey! I’m Ed Jones, wedding photographer and videographer extraordinaire. Jokes, I’m a pretty chilled-out guy. I have been creating timeless imagery for about two years and love every second of it. For me, weddings are a beautiful celebration of love between two people who have chosen to commit to each other.
I’ve always had a passion for photography & videography, and living in the Lakes, with its beautiful scenery and ever-changing weather, has given me the opportunity to develop and grow in my knowledge and skills. This growth led to finding my way to where I am now. I felt like I wanted something more and to really push myself. Then, the opportunity arose when I was asked to photograph & film my first wedding for a friend. I loved every second of the experience, working with the couple to give the best possible service, engaging with guests and capturing all the feels in a forever record. I tend to avoid the traditional styles of wedding photography & videography; I’d much rather capture those candid moments when you’re having a joke with the girls or a laugh with the lads whilst still capturing those group & family shots everyone needs. The little details are big to me: the little shoulder touch, the kiss on the forehead, the intimate, unseen moments of the day. Movement is key, and I try to create something timeless and cinematic.
