Alex captured our day perfectly. He (and his second shooter) worked tirelessly from bridal preparations to the evening party and were completely relaxed and unobtrusive the entire time they were with us.
We were blown away with the completed highlights video, which was with us before we even left for our honeymoon a couple of days after the wedding. It brilliantly conveyed the whole feeling and atmosphere of the day, allowing us to re-live the day each time we watch it. Alex cleverly managed to pick out which guests we spent the most time with over the day and made sure that it was these people who featured most heavily in our footage.
We booked Alex after seeing the video he did for friends of ours. Now watching both videos we can see they are totally different, but both really suit our different personalities. Before the wedding and as the budget got tighter, we felt that the videography was probably one of the more frivolous decisions we had made on a 'non-essential' part of the day, but now looking back at what the finished product allows us to do in keeping those memories alive for years to come we truly feel that it was one of the best purchased that we made. It really brings out the true emotions, even to people who weren't there, in a way that the still photographs aren't quite able to do.
