Welcome to Fleur de Lys films, I’m a South Wales Wedding Videographer local to Cardiff, Cheltenham, Bristol, Cotswolds, and Hereford. The best moments of your day are real and not staged. Therefore we like to take a documentary style approach when it comes to filming your wedding day. This documentary approach allows couples to feel relaxed in front of the camera and enjoy the day. We will capture all aspects of your wedding day whilst remaining in the background

All our wedding films are bespoke and edited to capture the personality of each couple. As standard coverage I will film your wedding day from bridal preparations to your first dance. Once I have captured enough footage of you and your guests partying I will leave you to enjoy the rest of your evening. If you need me to stay later to capture surprise events please just ask. I’m a licensed drone operator and where possible I will capture cinematic drone footage.

Fleur de Lys Films is proud to serve couples all across the United Kingdom. Rhys offers highlights and short film packages. Both packages include coverage up to the first dance, a full-length ceremony video and speeches videos. Drone coverage and longer edits are also available.

What does the wedding package include?

I'd be there all day from morning prep to the evening party as standard coverage. I have two packages - Short Film or the Highlights Film www.fdl-films.co.uk/Packages

How far in advance should I contact you?

I would suggest once you have booked a wedding venue with a confirmed date

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?

Yes, although Fleur de Lys Films is based in South Wales, we love to travel far and wide and can cater for jobs in almost every location

What is the charge for travelling?

It all depends on location, I try not to charge for travel but if I need to stay the night before I may charge for accommodation

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I take a documentary style approach when it comes to filming your wedding day. This approach allows couples to feel relaxed in front of the camera and enjoy the day

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use two cameras for the ceremony and speeches with small professional microphones. For the rest of the day I use a Lumix S1 camera and a Mavic Pro 2 drone

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

I try not to charge for extra time, you tend to get me for 10 to 12 hours. If you wish for me to stay longer we can discuss costs

What are the forms of payment?

I require a deposit to secure the booking and the final amount one before the wedding date. Both payments made via bank transfer

How do you work?

I take a documentary style approach when capturing your day, this relaxed approach allows me to be blend into the background and makes it more natural (I don't ask you to pose or stage anything)
