Based in York, North Yorkshire, Freyja Wedding Films produces timeless videos from couples' milestone occasions. Owner Curtis is a multimedia expert and passionate about all things film. He loves to encapsulate couples' love stories through a creative and authentic approach.

Experience

Curtis has several years of experience within the industry. Prior to this, he studied and developed his skills through university degrees. In the past, Curtis has had the pleasure of working with broadcasters such as Channel 4 and BBC funded networks.

Services Offered

Freyja Wedding Films offers three different packages for you to choose from. All of these options include a pre-wedding film session, full-day coverage on the day of the celebrations, and drone footage if possible. Curtis's unobstructed approach enables him to let your big day flow naturally as he ensures that every crucial scene is forever remembered. Though based in the North of England, Curtis is available for special occasions throughout the United Kingdom.

What does the wedding package include?

I offer two different packages. All packages include: A Drone (weather & location dependant) Full Day Coverage (Morning Prep - After First Dance)

How far in advance should I contact you?

I always recommend getting in touch as soon as possible as dates go very quickly. However, if you do have a date coming up soon, still get in touch as cancellations happen and dates become available

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, uK & International

What is the charge for travelling?

I don't like the idea of having any hidden fees in regards to travel, so the prices you get for the package are the prices they will always stay at

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I pride myself on the authenticity of my films. I like to capture the moments as they happen, naturally. Even during the couple shoot, I like to pull back from directing, and let you both be you

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use top level professional cinema, lighting & audio equipment (listed below). I also use a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone to get those incredible scenic shots. Super 8 Film BMPCC4K BMPCC6K RODE Lav Mic's

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

I charge per extra hour of coverage. It is £200 per extra hour of shooting

What are the forms of payment?

I take bank transfer as a form of payment. In order to book, I require a 10% deposit

How do you work?

I like to work very calmly whilst blending into the background. I want to capture who you are as people and how your day went, as authentically as possible whilst keeping that cinematic, filmic style

Amazing experience, would highly recommend! 5 star service

I would highly recommend Freyja Wedding Films to anyone getting married a definite must have video to capture your special day! We have the most beautiful wedding video we can re-watch over and over to re-live our most special moments. The quality is 5 star like something from a movie. The service is outstanding, thank you so much to Curtis and Jayde for your attention to detail and for your time and effort to create the most perfect pre-wedding shoot and wedding video, we really enjoyed working with you! :) Amazing work thanks again xx

Highly recommend

Curtis and Connor were brilliant at our wedding last week. We felt so comfortable and considering neither of us are used to being in front of a camera, we actually had a lot of fun whilst getting couples shots. They were both so lovely and I actually didn’t even realise they had stayed so late until they came to say bye! I really can’t recommend enough. Thank you so much!

Amazing best video ever

I cannot recommend Curtis and team enough. Not only is the film beautifully shot but he manages to capture every little detail. He blended the music perfectly with the film, captured the emotion of the day and the smiles and laughter of our friends and family. I've laughed and cried whilst watching it. You miss so many aspects of your own wedding ( more so as the bride as you're last one to arrive!) and forget so much that happens as the nerves kick in massively overwhelmed and you're just so busy from start to end. So having the whole day to relive at your fingertips is priceless in my opinion. 5 stars is not enough! Get booking people you won't regret it! Thanks again love Mr and Mrs Campbell.
