Gideon & Sidney is an award-winning wedding videography team based in southeast England.
Marcus and Jordan (aka Gideon & Sidney), met while studying for a Bachelor's in Film Studies at the University of Kent in September of 2016. After three years of studying and living together, they decided to put their newly learned visual storytelling knowledge to the test and began voluntarily filming local weddings in their hometowns of Sudbury, Suffolk and Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Having gained much experience over a short period gave Marcus & Jordan the hunger to develop and venture further into the world of weddings.
In early 2019, they formally began operating under the name of Gideon & Sidney (both Marcus & and Jordan's middle names). Since then, they have attended over 100 weddings spanning across the entirety of the UK and in some cases abroad. This stands as a testament to their love for capturing stories and bringing them to light in the form of moving pictures. Almost five years on, they've received numerous awards and accolades from fellow peers and bodies of the UK's wedding/event industries. The team at Gideon & Sidney delicately weaves together the cherished moments of each couple's special day, creating timeless masterpieces that retain memories for a lifetime.

The most incredible videographers!
Jordan and Marcus are the most incredible pair! From initial contact to our wedding day they were absolutely fantastic.
On the wedding day they blended in to the day perfectly, it felt so natural.
We chose their platinum package and we are so happy with the results. The still images are so beautiful!

Couldn't be happier
Amazing pair of geniuses who are passionate about the results they produce. I had the pleasure of hiring Gideon&Sidney for my wedding. We talked a few times prior to the date to get a good idea of what we wanted etc. they're both incredibly friendly and professional. Sent a proof version of the video to make sure we were happy before finalising. Amazing quality of film and really tastefully shot. Super happy, would and have recommend them to anybody and everybody. They were also able to send me another video when I'd lost the original which considering it was almost a year later, I was blown away by. Really can't say enough good things about them. Thank you for capturing our special day so beautifully!

Perfect Wedding Videographers
Gideon and Sidney wedding videographers were exactly what I was looking for. I was recommended them through a friend in the film industry and they were local to where my wedding was, which felt perfect. We had an initial call on the phone and they were really understanding of what I was looking for, but also the prohibitive costs of some videographers, so worked with me on an approach and cost that worked for me.
I haven't seen the final edit just yet, but I've had a sneak preview of the speeches and an edit preview and it was just what I was looking for.
They were really easy to get on with, lovely to my guests, blended in with my photographers and I would recommended highly. I can't thank them enough.

Jordan & Marcus you are both so incredible at what you do and myself & Max can’t thank you enough! I cannot recommend Gideon & Sidney enough! Seriously look no further if you’re looking for a videographer, these guys are just the best! So kind, friendly and incredible at what they do! You’ll feel so relaxed and at ease with these guys, you’ll be well looked after and you’ll have the most beautiful wedding video to look back on! I use to work in weddings myself and thought picking suppliers would be super hard but when it came to choosing a videographer I didn’t have to think twice! Thank you just isn’t enough, from start to finish you guys were so on top of everything, we knew we were in great hands and had full confidence in you both to put together the most important video of our lives! Wow what can I say!!!! These guys are incredible! Marcus took the time to phone us a week before the wedding to check in and discuss plans for the day. This was great as I let Marcus know some of our plans and told him what was important to us to be captured.
Marcus was extremely friendly, helpful, professional, polite and discrete. At times I didn’t even know he was there, to the point I’ve seen some clips of what was filmed and thought how did he get that! He just blends into the background perfectly whilst you enjoy your day. We’ve seen our short reel and haven’t stopped playing it over and over. We can’t wait to see the rest of our clips!! My husband doesn’t like having his photo taken so has really enjoyed seeing the more natural clips of the special moments during the day
We will never be able to thank you guys enough for helping us treasure these memories forever.

Amazing and professional Wedding Videographer
Provided a brilliant service from start to finish, kept rolling all day for amazing videos, snippets and stills! Always available if we needed to speak to him but otherwise near invisible allowing for amazing natural shots and reactions as they were always in the right place with the perfect angle! Extremely friendly and professional and the end product is unreal, we got a snippet very quickly after the wedding and couldn't stop watching it awaiting the rest of the work!!

The Best Wedding Legacy❤️🎬
Honestly, I know it’s an extra cost, but I would argue that this is one of the most important wedding extras you could invest in! Every part of the day that we wanted to remember, is captured thanks to Gideon&Sidney. The wedding day went by so quickly, but thanks to them, we now have it all recorded. I highly recommend them both❤️ they even turned up in our wedding colours to blend in!
P.s. they also edited to ensure all the speeches and vows were included without music playing over the top which was very important to us.

Amazing wedding videographers!
We had Marcus & Jordan for our wedding and they were fantastic from the minute we first contacted them with an enquiry! They explained the whole package in detail so we knew exactly what we were getting, and it was amazing. We had several check-in conversations in the lead up to the wedding to discuss our plans for the day and some essential footage that we would like to have. The day of the wedding both guys were great, blended in so well, very professional and made sure to have the cameras ready to capture anything at a moments notice to create some great footage, and they worked amazingly with our photographer who they had never previously met. They sent us a couple of short clips/previews fairly soon after the wedding and we can’t wait to see the final films!

If you want to feel “unwatched” but get everything covered, then these guys are a must. There was never a point we felt they were “in the way” but got some beautiful shots and footage.
Really easy to get on with and a good laugh throughout the day!

With the whole lead up to your wedding all you need is communication with your suppliers/vendors to reassure you - Marcus made sure that he was contacting me and asking questions about what we like and about our day and was was very reassuring. We had 2 phone calls prior and each time he was very friendly and polite and could tell that he was extremely professional.
On the morning of the wedding he came with another videographer and they were just absolutely amazing - me and my husband cannot wait to see what they have captured of our special day!

Would definately recommend
I contacted G&S after finding them on Google, full transparency there were a couple we had found and emailed. We found that they had brilliant response time and put us at ease straight away, and from what we could find best for money with amazing previous wedding highlights that showcased their work. From that first email it was easy to stay in contact with them.
On the day we were joined by Marcus and Jordan, and they were brilliant. I know it comes with the job being 'incognito' but I have had friends where their videographers hadn't always done this. It was nice because I felt comfortable round them both very quickly and hopefully this helped them capture their footage.
We havnt received our full film yet but we have had sneak peaks and from what we have seen we cannot wait for the final film because a 25 second clip has never looked so brilliant

I research everything I do all of the time, reviews were top priority and G&S' reviews were outstanding. I made an enquiry and immediately knew I'd made a great choice in doing so; Marcus responded so quickly and in such a warm and friendly manner. I didn't feel like just a bride, I felt special from the word go and this made me more excited to book them.
We received many updates, communication was absolutely superb, they checked in to see if we needed anything, had calls to make sure we'd covered everything and they took the pressure away from us - total confidence and reassurance that they would be a great asset and indeed investment.
On the day they arrived on time, they were very relaxed but professional in equal measures. Both of us absolutely hate being filmed or photographed and we actually enjoyed it! They took us down to the beach for images and we laughed the whole time!
Booking suppliers for weddings is stressful; you never know how it'll pan out but for anyone who is uncertain or considering where to go - we absolutely recommend Gideon&Sidney.
