I would just like to say that we were absolutely blown away with the 'You Do The Shoot' video. I was extremely excited and nervous to see what the footage had come out like as I really didn't notice the cameras on the day and so didn't know what bits were captured (which was a good thing!)! I think it was the final product was so natural and really captured the feel of the day because it was our friends behind the cameras and so they just seemed to blend in meaning everyone had so much fun interacting with them as they were passed around. I was also so impressed with your organization in delivering/collecting the equipment and how easy the cameras were to work. It was also very special that we got to choose the songs and you were very flexible in creating something that was perfect and personal for us. Thank you once again, we will definitely be recommending 'You Do The Shoot' to all our friends!!!

when a friend of a friend got married and I saw their wedding video I thought that's for me then. I also found them on hitched and read some of there reviews. After that I knew I was on to a good thing and sure enough I was right fantastic decision so glad we went with You Do The Shoot amazing video great price highly recommend these guys

Maid of honour here.... I honestly wasn't sure what to expect....guests filming themselves with handheld cameras....would it look ok? But the editing made it look so flawless it could have been professionally filmed (I did quite a bit of the filming...and I'm the clumsiest person I know!) and you'd obviously taken the time to work out who their two daughters were since they appear in a lot of the video, not an easy task as there were a few similar aged little girls wearing similar outfits! I love how you captured their happy faces on the day...as you can imagine they weren't too good as posing for long periods of time so we all loved seeing them dancing and enjoying themselves on the day. Also I really love the still shots...so different from the posed versions taken on the day...so natural and lovely. Well done, a truly fantastic job.

DIY wedding videos are so COOOOOOOL! That sums it up for me. Having your friends and family make something for you that you'll treasure for the rest of your life is priceless. There are other options of course, but really when you get down to it there is no comparison . I don't really want a stranger hanging out with us while we rare getting ready. On the other hand having my sister film us was a total laugh. Also we both had a camera so we both got to see what the other person was doing during this time. How much would normally cost , what two cameramen at different locations and then throughout the day my friends went and filmed in places no cameraman would dare to go. Meaning I got a chance to see what everyone was doing and saying while I was busy getting married. Fantastic best video ever. I would say if you don't do it yourself or at least combine it with a cameraman your mad. Oh and the cost is so reasonable compared with what the "traditional" wedding video cost. We ended up with something that is priceless. When we shared it with frtiends who couldn't make it they said it was like they were actually there. One person side it was better...cheeky

I first time I heard about you do the shoot diy wedding videos. I was at my cousins wedding and noticed the grooms men sharing a video camera and the brides maids also doing the same.
I asked what the story was and they told me about you do the shoot. They provide all the equipment, couriered to you a few days before the wedding and picked after. They also give you tutorials on what’s the best things to film. It was really great because you didn’t feel self conscious when they filmed you. Everyone was messing around in front of the cameras and telling story’s and leaving messages and I thought what a brill idea I want it fro my wedding. I even had a go at filming myself and it was really easy because the cameras they supply are so good and easy to use. I contacted them and asked if they could send the cameras to Wales as they were London based and the said no problem
they a arrived and we filmed the entire wedding day and the day leading up to it
the finished results were amazing. I think the best part for me when I watched it, was seeing all the stuff I missed. Like when John was waiting at the church for me and all the congratulations people sent us and how much fun everyone had
It is something I will always treasure and I absolutely recommend

We used You Do The Shoot for our wedding this year and couldnt be happier with the DVDs.

The process from start to finish was so easy and so well organized, we had nothing to worry about. The cameras were easy for anyone to use and there was plenty of battery life for the whole day. Sending the cameras back was also simple and easy to do!

The edited DVDs are perfect and exactly what we were looking for, a relaxed, fun and classic way to document your day and capture your loved ones! Would highly recommend.

Blimey who would have thought it. You get given a couple of cameras, admittedly very good ones, some simple instructional videos on what to film. Hand them over to your mates and you end up with the best wedding video you could imagine ...Yeah it may not be a flowery as some of the pro ones that cost 5X times as much. But its got heart and soul and that what was important to me and my missus. Just truly blown away by the finished results

I heard about You do the shoot, through a friend of mine who used them last year. we where at the wedding and I remember seeing the grooms men filming everyone, me included and having a lot of fun in the process.
I asked what the score was, and they explained the idea to me..... we film, they edit and supply all the gear.
I saw the finished results, and any skepticism I had completely vanished. It was a great wedding video, mainly because it was relaxed funny and unlike any wedding video I had seen before, every personal.
So when we got married in January we also used you do the shoot with equally fantastic results
what I did not realize, was logistically how stress free the process would be.

Granted, I was a little skeptical about the whole idea, and was not planning on having a video. But when my brother, said it was his wedding present and that him and hie mates would take care of everything
I thought OK great still not 100% convinced
I think he most have noticed I was still wondering if it would work, so was determined to prove me that it would, and he sure did.
firstly, it was a riot having someone documenting everything that I knew so well, instead of it being a hassle it was the complete opposite and really funny being asked what I thought about stuff and how I felt but without having to be serious ........I know it would have been utterly different with a stranger doing it
and the end results after you do the shoot had edited it, and added are favorite songs were fantastic. Really amazing I'm blown away and am so grateful to my bro, for doing this fro me. By far my favorite wedding present

I didn't know really what I expected our finished video to be like, having not been privy to 80% of what was being filmed. Of course I saw my sister and her boyfriend Mike, all over the place, camcorders in hand have a great old time and Dora had one camcorder with us in the morning, which was a hoooooot. But apart from that, I was blissfully unaware most of the time . Which only added to my utter surprise and amazement when I eventually viewed it for the first time..OMG incredible, the best way to describe it is like a personalized documentary filmed by people that love you, that want to make it as good as possible for you, that get you and your sense of humor. I really cant imagine how you can improve upon this approach.......The Guys at You Do the Shoot were fab, staying in contact right up to the time the gear was delivered and making sure all was good, and then same with the collection. A really smooth operation, they basically make it idiot proof luckily for me haha....I could not have wished for a better way to remember that brill day or had a nicer gift from my sis and Michael xx

It was a great choice to make, going the film your own wedding video approach. Totally hassle free. The equipment was delivered to our house in London and picked up from mikes parents in Scotland ...Amazing! Everyone had a real laugh, in front and behind the cameras and the running commentary from mike s bro Graham, Thanks ~Gray, is absolutely hysterical. Being able to see what my hubby got up to in the morning of the big day was priceless. A brilliant service and a fantastic memory our the day. I can highly recommend them. Thanks xxxx

This is simply the best wary to remember your day, That was the you do the shoot slogan, and I must say I think they are right, the reason being the video is fun, you can tell we are relaxed in front of the camera and that means a lo to met. I was dreading having a stranger, not matter how nice, pointing a camera at us all day, saying act natural, which is the one thing that makes self conscious.instead I have a video were we are all relaxed and having a whale of a time. of course with a professional filming the finished result may have been a bit slicker, But I know for sure it wouldn't of had the heat of our video and that's what important to us. Absolutely ecstatic with the finished result. I'm so glad I chose

wow what a brilliants idea get all your friends involved in making your wedding video, sit back and relax as they have the time of there lives.
It couldn't have been simpler we ordered on line chatted with Ben, the main man at you do the shoot, he answered all our questions and was really accommodating with things like the delivery and pick up of the equipment. Everything went as smooth as silk and we received our amazing videos a few weeks after the wedding I could not have imagined they would have turned out so well. I absolutely fell about laughing and also shed a tear or two....A really fantastic idea that is better than you can imagine because it's really your friends filming people the know and love ....so happy Thanks
