Newton Films is a wedding videography business based in Market Drayton, Shropshire.
We are Jonathan and Jess, a Husband and Wife team who love nothing more than telling your story and sharing unforgettable memories through the medium of film.
We’re wedding videographers based in Shropshire, but we work with our couples all over the UK. We’ve been fortunate enough to film at some really unique and wonderful wedding venues, from historic country houses to 5-star hotels in beautiful locations around the UK.

Your wedding day is about you! We’re not here to try and create a structured story our aim is to tell your story through a beautiful piece of videography using our skills and creativity.
Every video is as unique as the couples we create them for and will tell the story of your special day so that you will be able to share it and remember it for years to come.
We recognise that you don’t want cameras following you and your guests around all day! We have become experts in becoming ‘invisible’ so that we can capture every special moment in the most candid and natural way possible.
In fact, we’ve often had our couples say, ‘We didn’t know you’d filmed that part!’ when they’ve reviewed their video for the first time!
It’s important to us that on your wedding day, you feel relaxed and happy. We are there to document it all, creating a film that you can treasure for the rest of your lives together.

Photographers that go above and beyond
My wife and I actually got married twice, legally when I was pregnant and then the full celebration with family and friends. Jonathan did our first wedding and made me feel beautiful and produced some absolutely fantastic pictures even though I was incredibly self conscious being so heavily pregnant. He made it lighthearted and fun, which is just what we needed.
Jess did our big celebration and she was absolutely amazing. She worked fantastically with all our other suppliers and actually helped and guided a very nervous bride through the morning. She did exactly what we asked and fit right in with the wedding party. I couldn’t recommend both of them enough. Fabulous service, worth every penny!

Outstanding & Personable
What can I say about how amazing Jonathan was to help make our special day even more perfect.
From the first moment I spoke to Jonathan he made me feel at ease, relaxed and that nothing was too much trouble.
Jonathan came to our rescue, only a few weeks before our wedding, when one of our suppliers let us down leaving us without a Marryoke. Jonathan sorted out a replacement in record speed and the outcome was just amazing.
On the wedding day, Jonathan fitted in so well with the wedding party and the guests and it was like having another friend at our wedding. You don't even realise that he is filming which makes the end result even more perfect & memorable.
His turnaround on providing us with our videos was brilliant and all the guests have mentioned how amazing the videos are and what a special keepsake it is to have of our most special day ever.
Jonathan not only saved our bacon with the Marryoke, another provider we used hadn't taken footage of an event during the wedding, but thanks to Jonathan again, he was able to put together a video of the footage he had. He is an absolute diamond and we can't ever thank you enough for capturing all those special moments that pictures can't quite capture.
Anyone thinking of booking Jonathan for your wedding, DO IT, it will be one of the best decisions you will make. Thanks again Jonathan for being a Top Bloke. Emma & Martin ☺️

Absolutely fantastic!
Where to begin with this couple! From initial queries to final videos they were absolutely fantastic! They are the loveliest, bubbliest couple and it was an absolute pleasure having them with us all day on our wedding day, it was non-stop laughs the whole time. Their attention to detail was superb and they captured every little thing, even the bits we didn't ask for or expect. They really did go above and beyond. The turnaround on the videos is super quick yet the quality is just as great. We could not be happier with the results so thank you both so much, we are in love with all the videos and would absolutely recommend you to anyone!!

Absolutely fantastic
What can I say, Jonathan was absolutely fantastic with us. Right from our first call everything was easy and relaxed and on the day he fitted in so well it was like having another friend or family member there as a guest. Nothing was forced and as a result we have an amazing wedding video which we'll be eternally grateful to Jonathan for.

You had the upmost patience with us, our guests and our other suppliers... You were amazing throughout the day and I would totally recommend you to anyone wanting to book a videographer.
We received our sneak peak video and we are over the moon with it, it's absolutely STUNNING and it has made me cry every time I have watched it. We are so excited to see the full version. H&R x

Just amazing!
Now the post-wedding madness has finally calmed, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you more than anything for our unbelievable wedding videos.
Words cannot describe how amazing everything is; from the editing, to the way everything was captured, even down to the most lovely man behind the camera!! Jonathan, all day you made every single person who was there feel comfortable on camera, most didn’t even realise we’d hired a videographer, which on the flip side is a shame because those that did speak with you commented on how friendly and funny you were and you made such a wonderful addition to our memorable day.
I watch the feature film and highlight videos nearly every day, and I cannot see that changing anytime soon. Not one part of the day was missed out, and there wasn’t one part were I thought “I wish that would’ve been on the video” because it was all captured to the upmost perfection.
I will 100% be recommending you to everyone who I know is getting married. You really made our wedding day what it was, and created a video with memories that we truly will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Everything we could have hoped for!
Jonathan was lovely, we can't thank him enough for our video, he captured the day brilliantly, was friendly and completely put us at ease. We can't recommend him enough - great guy, great value for money and a fantastic memory of our day!
