SoapJar Productions makes playful and personal wedding films. They are a London-based wedding videography business run by newly married couple Sophie and Joe. Bringing over eight years of experience in filmmaking and editing to the table, Sophie and Joe specialise in marrying stunning cinematic videography with camcorder home-video nostalgic fun. Truly the best of both worlds. The dynamic team loves to capture the authenticity in couples' wedding days, finding the joy and intimacy in a highly personal yet beautiful and evocative end product. These out-of-the-box videographers don't believe a film of the best day of ones life should be cheesy, corporate and unpersonal - they believe it should be filled with personality, euphoria and also incredible picturesque imagery. SoapJar Productions has a fly-on-the-wall relaxed style as they believe it's the best way to capture people at their best. They deliver truly personal wedding films for couples to cherish for years to come.
Services Offered
SoapJar Productions offers full day coverage, 2 videographers, two cameras with multiple lenses, drone AND their signature camcorder which is passed around the guests to capture all the fun moments. Couples receive a 10-minute video edited to chosen personal music delivered within six weeks. There is the optional add-on of purchasing a 2-minute highlights trailer delivered within 1 week of the wedding date for those who simply can't wait. Sophie and Joe would love to hear from you to begin preparing for your magical event.

Can't recommend highly enough
Captured every moment perfectly. Impressive & seamless!
From the moment they arrived we knew we had made an excellent decision in having them record our special day.
When they arrived, they brought with them an amazing energy that really made us feel special, the pair are exceptionally friendly and charming as well as professional.
They quickly got to work scouting out opportunistic angles and adjusting various bits of filming equipment to get the perfect shots, all the while being almost unnoticeable.
Sophie and Joe stayed late into the evening to capture all of the dancing and revelry, so not a moment of our wedding was missed, and before we knew it we had a finished product ready to view!
The quality of the video was astounding, things seemed to move so fast on the day, so getting to watch the video back in such detail was incredibly moving.
We had given Sophie and Joe very little direction with what to do with the footage in regards to editing and music, so they sampled a few of the songs from our wedding playlist, and also used some wonderfully fitting songs of their own, the finished product was seamless.
I'm never usually one to boast, but I made a point of showing the video to every guest we had round for the next few months, it was that impressive!
The video had a perfect blend of shots, capturing all the important moments as well as some lovely scenic views from the venue, additionally Sophie and Joe seem to have a knack for bringing out the best in whatever they point their lenses at, there are so many moments in our video that capture our personalities, as well as our guests' too. Watching the video back we get to be reminded of all the warmth, love and care that went into the day, of which Sophie and Joe played a very important role.
We had been on the fence about hiring a videographer during the planning process, but booking Sophie and Joe was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made.

A fantastic job & lovely presence
She had a lovely presence which meant she slipped in easily to capture close ups and little details, whilst also capturing all the key, important moments.
She has a great eye for what will later be edited into a shorter, keepsake film. She edits well to music whilst also supplying voice recordings where appropriate
She provided us with a 12 minute record of the day with our chosen music which our close family and friends have all admired. She also put a 3 minute edit to music out of copyright which we could share on social media. This also got some amazing feedback.
If you ask Sophie to film your wedding then it's a great mix of a friendly, expert filming offer plus an additional add of her clever artistic eye.
She is fantastic to involve on your special day.
