We booked Stephen as our videographer for our wedding back in April 2024 – he has been absolutely fantastic!

Stephen was brilliant from start to finish. From the moment we booked him, he came across extremely personable, down to earth and eager to answer any queries we had. Prior to the wedding, we had spoken a couple of times via phone/email/video meeting, and we had interacted on Instagram to the point where we felt like we almost knew Stephen before the big day.

Stephen was great on the day itself. Particularly for me in the morning, Stephen’s presence was very calming, he made me laugh, he didn’t get in the way or impose, it all felt very natural, and I’ve since had lots of compliments about Stephen since as he was brilliant with our guests – personable but professional.

The work he has produced is absolutely fantastic and has brought me to tears every time I’ve watched our videos! He was able to provide a ‘sneak peak’ within 2 days of the wedding which was around 1 minute long and gave us a little teaser of what was to come! He also uploaded a video of our ceremony and speeches to our page (which he sends you a link to), which was amazing to watch.

Since the ‘sneak peak’, Stephen has also produced a trailer and then our main video. The main video is around 18 minutes long and captures the whole day – it’s my absolute favourite! I can’t stop watching all of the videos but the main video is so special. He is extremely talented at what he does, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to future couples!

Even after the wedding, Stephen kept us updated about timescales. As we had the ‘sneak peak’ we didn’t want Stephen to rush producing the trailer or main video and the fact he kept us updated meant we didn’t worry about how long it might take. The main video was delivered to us around 10 weeks after the wedding which felt like perfect timing as you get so many memories flooding back when you watch it!

From our first phone call Steve was reassuring, friendly and able to answer any query we had for our day! After booking, Steve regularly checked in with us and we were able to contact him at any point up to the big day. In the week leading up to the wedding we had a phone call to discuss the timeline for the day, Steve never forgot points I had discussed with him on previous calls. It was lovely to know he cared about our day as much as we did!

On the day Steve had the biggest smile on his face and was excited about getting all the best shots. He adapted to the ceremony being outside when the weather changed and ensured he got the best drone shots. I think the quality of the video speaks for itself but it is absolutely amazing and better than we could have wished for!!

Steve captured our wedding in sept 23 and to say we are over the moon with the films would be an understatement. From start to finish Steve was so lovely and we felt so comfortable with him being there, it was as though he was part of our crowd and slotted right in. Infact, he worked so well and blended into the crowd I barely noticed he was there (sorry Steve 😂) this was perfect for us as we wanted a really relaxed vibe.

He most definitely got the brief of what we were after. Not only were the films perfect, Steve made the whole process from booking, to receiving the films after the wedding and everything In between totally stress free and easy at what can be quite a stressful time with the organising of a wedding.

We didn’t originally plan on having a videographer, but when it became clear that Danny’s parents would be unable to attend our wedding it became invaluable that we had one, and it turned out to be the best decision.
We’re so happy we found Steve, his enthusiasm and genuine excitement about his job is second to none and he also is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Every interaction we had before the wedding was positive and made us feel at ease. He took the time to get to know about us as a couple and what we wanted from our film.

My husband and I got married on 12th November 2022. Steve was the videographer we chose to capture our special day and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Steve was recommended to us by our photographer Richard (from ‘This is Richard’ Photography) and we a so thrilled we decided to go with his recommendation. When we first met with Steve, we were so pleased to find that he was such a lovely person. He was friendly, enthusiastic and made us feel relaxed straight away. He seemed genuinely excited about our wedding and our ideas that we knew we had made the right decision in choosing Steve as our videographer. It was also special that Steve was getting married the week before us, so we all sort of had ‘wedding fever’ together.

During the wedding planning process, Steve made himself accessible via email and WhatsApp which was really helpful if we had any queries or updates. We also had an in-depth discussion with him a week or two before our wedding to finalise the entire plan of the day and what our wishes and expectations were. Being able to reach Steve anytime was very important and reassuring to us both.

As Steve’s wedding portfolio expanded – we were so impressed and excited by the work he was posting on his website and his social media. The wedding videos he was posting demonstrated to us that he was able to capture the style of wedding video we were specifically looking for. Seeing his previous work provided us with confidence and made us even more excited for our special day.

On the day, Steve was wonderful. He worked amazingly alongside our photographer Richard from This Is Richard Photography – they were an awesome team and bounced off each other extremely well. They both honestly made our day so easy and enjoyable. They were able to capture special natural moments throughout the day, but also put us at ease when doing our couple portraits/shots too (as neither one of us are comfortable in front of a camera). All of our guests commented on how friendly, sociable and efficient/professional they both were. Steve had the perfect mixture of blending into the background so that we, as well as our guests, didn’t feel too conscious about the camera and having the personality to work with a crowd when facilitating group moments/shots.

After the wedding Steve kept us updated with regards to when we could expect our video. It took around 14-15 weeks however it was certainly worth the wait. We would rather wait a little longer for our video to be done properly and for us to be happy with it rather than it being rushed and poorly executed. The quality was absolutely exquisite and truly breath-taking. Steve managed to capture our whole day perfectly and we could not praise him more highly. He really was able to bring our magical day to life.
The video was everything we had hoped for and more. It was relaxed, candid and not ‘over-produced’. The video was delivered on a beautiful, personalised USB Stick and included a trailer, a 14-minute film of our whole day as well as the ceremony and speeches separately. The video came as part of a lovely ‘night in’ package including some tasty goodies that went down very well and just added a personal, hand delivered touch. Upon receiving our video, we couldn’t stop watching it – we loved being able to share our video with our family and friends (all of whom adored it as well). We are beyond grateful to Steve that we have this stunning video to treasure forever.

He is beyond talented. The video that we received just demonstrate how skilled and proficient he is in his craft. We would 100% recommend Steve to anyone. So much so, that my sister used his services for her wedding in February 2023.

We are over the moon with the footage Steve captured, edited and put together in a film. Steve was really easy to interact with from the initial booking, on the big day and after the wedding keeping us updated on his progress with the film. Steve worked well with other suppliers especially our photographer. On the day of our wedding Steve arrived early to capture footage of the beautiful venue and grounds,getting himself familiar with the area for suggesting perfect spots to capture some footage. Steve even travelled to a second location which was 10 minutes away from the venue to enable him to capture footage of the Groom and Groomsmen which is much appreciated. The end result brings tears of joy to our eyes as we watch and re live our special day with a great choice of music that Steve selected.Steve’s passion and talent shines while working and watching the final product.We would highly recommend Steve’s service to future couples. Steve is a professional in everything he does, but most importantly the service we received could not be topped! What a guy, he was so kind, funny, and made everything so easy - we hardly noticed he was recording! He got on so well with our photographer as well, and the final videos were more than we imagined it would be! I cannot recommend him enough, the drone shots were absolutely stunning and the whole video composition just captured all the magic of the day.

Everyone who's seen it has been buzzed and I cannot wait to re-book for future events because there's no doubt we would want the same for future anniversaries and events. From my initial contact with Steve at Capture by design to receiving the end product nothing was too much trouble, he was extremely friendly and really wanted to get to know us as a couple, he genuinely cared about what we wanted to achieve from our wedding video and took on board anything we wanted to ensure he captured. I was apprehensive about having a videographer at my wedding as myself and husband hate having a camera in our face. From the moment Steve arrived on the day of our wedding he felt like one of our friends not someone who we had employed to work for the day. He also made the effort to talk to all our family and friends putting them at ease when he was filming them, not once throughout the day did we feel like the camcorder was in our face. It was all very natural.

For anybody looking for videographer, we cannot recommend Stephen Whitehead enough! Truth be told, during our wedding planning phase, we weren’t sure if we actually wanted a videographer as we thought wedding photos alone would be enough. However, we were afraid we’d come to regret it and my goodness I’m so glad we did because having Stephen there was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

He is honestly the most professional, attentive and friendly guy you’ll ever meet. He will go above and beyond to make sure he captures the day beautifully as well as making you feel comfortable at the same time. Good communication with your wedding suppliers is key and Stephen is always so quick to respond to any queries. Although we hadn’t met each other in person prior to the wedding, we’d often message each other via social media and built such a lovely rapport that it meant we felt so at ease during our supplier meeting and on the big day. Him and my photographer worked together so seamlessly and kept us calm throughout the day. He was so creative with his filming, we trusted his artistic direction which led to some of our favourite shots.

In just a couple of days after the wedding, we received our sneak peek video and honestly, we were over the moon with how it turned out that we’d just been happy with that alone! It made us so excited for our feature film and we were right to be because it was everything we could have wished for. Watching it was like reliving the best day of our lives again, plus there were so many snippets of friends & family that we would’ve missed otherwise. He was also able to capture all the intricate details that we spent so many hours planning.

I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of watching these videos, we love them so much! If you’re looking to book a videographer, Stephen’s your guy!!

We got married in July this year and booking Stephen as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made.

Before the wedding, we had a call with Stephen to go over the details of the day, and his passion really shone through. He went into so much detail that we both knew exactly what to expect. We could have talked to him for hours, he’s just a really nice, down-to-earth guy who’s super chatty. We knew from that moment we’d made the right choice.

We sent Stephen an extensive itinerary for the day, and he took the time to go over everything in detail. On the day, he made suggestions and prompted us throughout to ensure we didn’t miss any important moments. Without him, so many of those moments could have been missed. He has an amazing eye for creative shots, finding angles and moments we hadn’t even thought about, which added a personal, artistic feel. He worked really well with all our other suppliers but wasn’t afraid to take charge when needed to get the perfect shot.
You spend a lot of time with your suppliers on the wedding day, but having Stephen there felt like having a friend by our side. We shared so many funny moments and memories with him that will last forever.

From the preview to the final feature film, Stephen captured everything perfectly. The wedding day felt like a blur, but we’ve been able to relive it through the beautiful film he created. Both the preview and feature film surpassed our expectations, and we’re so happy with the memories we now have to cherish forever.

Stephen was not only friendly but also incredibly professional. He was always punctual, organized, and worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly. Even after the wedding, Stephen was great to work with, he kept us updated on the editing process and ensured we were happy with the final product.

Steve, where do I begin! Before, during & after our wedding you have provided 5* service at all times. I found Steve through Instagram when our wedding venue (Wyresdale Park) shared one of his reels, as soon as I saw it I said “omg we have to book him!”, I absolutely loved Steve’s videography style & I hadn’t even seen his full Instagram page yet. When I enquired with Steve he responded really quickly, we had a great chat via our emails & I felt really confident in my decision to go ahead with Steve filming our wedding day.
